The winners: 51st CMA Awards honors country artists

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The 51st annual Country Music Awards will honor artists and musicians in Music City at Bridgestone Arena.

The stars flocked to the red carpet Wednesday night before the show.

Several artists are up for big awards: Complete List.

The show opened with a major performance featuring several big names like Darius Rucker, Eddie Montgomery, Rascal Flatts and others.

Reba McEntire and Kelsea Ballerini performed a showstopping duet.

Here are some of the awards that have been handed out:

  • Single of the Year: Keith Urban won for "Blue Aint Your Color"
  • Song of the Year: Taylor Swift won for "Better Man." Swift wrote the song, which has been performed by Little Big Town
  • New Artist of the Year: Jon Pardi
  • Album of the Year: Chris Stapleton for "A Room, Vol. 1"
  • Vocal Group of the Year: Little Big Town
  • Female Vocalist of the Year: Miranda Lambert
  • Male Vocalist of the Year: Chris Stapleton
  • Entertainer of the Year: Garth Brooks
