Rowdy Yates is the newest member of the KVOO family, and a part of "The VOO Crew" weekday mornings.
Most recently he was afternoon personality at KILT in Houston, where he was twice nominated for Academy of Country Music Disc Jockey of the Year, and is the youngest person to ever be inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame.
In addition to his morning duties on 98.5 KVOO, Rowdy is host of the syndicated "Country Gold" show, which is heard in over 100 cities around the nation every week.
He is the son of legendary radio newsman Joe Holstead.
He and his wife Kim, who is a real estate agent with Chinowth and Cohen, reside in South Tulsa with their two dogs Jake and Buddy.
