HAPPY ABANDON YOUR RESOLUTION DAY
It’s the first day of February ... and that means more than a third of Americans have already abandoned their New Year’s resolutions.
Yep, according to a study, more than one in three of you have given up on the "new year, new you" thing. And by June, less than half of you will be sticking with your goal.
The most common resolution broken is losing weight/getting healthy, which one in five people say is their biggest annual goal.
Some other stats:
Americans spend an average of $58 a month on gym memberships, despite the fact that 67% of us don’t use that membership.
A study of more than 7,700 gym members found that those who signed up for a contract with a flat monthly fee went to the gym, on average, just 4.3 times in a month. That's about $17 per visit. According to researchers, they would have been better off buying one-time passes for the day. *Or, decade, in my case. ~Rowdy
