The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says an Owasso man is is dead after crashing his pickup truck into his own home early Wednesday.

Troopers say 61-year old Mark Mauldin had some sort of medical incident and crashed into the home just before 2 a.m.

The OHP says Mauldin's 2004 Dodge Ram hit the front porch, causing some damage.

They say Mauldin's death was not related to the crash, but they believe it was due to a medical incident.

 The OHP says family members were at home at the time, but none of them were hurt.

Troopers were called about the crash because the home is located outside the Owasso city limits.
