Reba announced the nominations for the 54th Academy Of Country Music Awards, last week on CBS This Morning. She then headed to the Ed Sullivan Theater, as guest appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Now she's preparing to drop her new album, Stronger Than The Truth, on Friday April 5th.  And then, 2 days later, she will host the ACM Awards, live from Vegas on Sunday night April 7th!  This Oklahoma girl is everywhere these days!  While on the show with Colbert, she spoke about her upbringing in Chockie, Oklahoma.  The town is so small that it isn't even incorporated. You can find the Chockie by driving south on US-69 from McAlester.  She told Colbert about her youth, singing and performing in rodeos with her 2 siblings and her father, Clark, who was a champion steer roper.

Reba is so proud of where she comes from.  On her new upcoming album, there's a song titled "No U In Oklahoma."  She co-wrote it with her friend and fellow Okie, Ronnie Dunn of Brooks & Dunn.  Reba's busy schedule these next few weeks should make us all proud of our state. She's a constant reminder of the legacy of country music in Oklahoma.  No place else on earth has given birth to as many country stars as Oklahoma.
